Participation by Residents, their Families and Advocates, known as 'service users & carers', as well as you the staff is essential if our Care Homes are to deliver resident centered care, focusing on listening too, and acting upon what you all tell us. The three documents linked on this page will take you to Abercorn Care Limited's Participation Strategy, Quality Assurance and Self Assessment Policy and finally the Communication Policy. These documents are closely linked to ensure we have the structure and mechanisms to allow the Company, individual homes and staff to facilitate the contribution from our service users and carers.
If any member of staff beleives there are ways to improve participation then please take time to discuss with your Manager or any of the Company's Directors. Your suggestions are always welcome and we value the input as it helps to shape our policy and allows, you the staff, to gain a measure of ownerships for your working practices and environment
